Steel City Abseil · 27 October 2013 ·
Hi - thanks for visiting my sponsorship page
On 27 October I shall be attempting a 120ft abseil down a famous Sheffield landmark to raise money for the work of the British Red Cross.
It's the Owen Building - the Hallam Uni one opposite the train station that has the poem of Sir Andrew Motion in massive letters down the side. Like the poem, I've thought 'What If?' and signed up to abseil past the poem line by line.
The Red Cross helps people whose lives have been devastated by crises and disasters in the UK and overseas - such as house fires, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, famine and war.
It's a big and unique challenge and a fantastic cause - so please sponsor me !
