At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Joanna and Pauline are taking part in the Memory Walk as a tribute to our wonderful Grandad/Dad.  He was such an amazing person and we miss him every day.  In the later stages of his life he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Dementia, therefore doing this walk is a fitting tribute and we know he would be proud of us both for doing this.

Memory Walks across the UK have been arranged to raise much needed funds for the Alzheimer's Society.

All of the money we raise will help support people living with dementia and their families, so your donation will make a huge difference.

Just £50 will pay for someone with dementia to go to a Dementia Café session every week for a month, where they can meet others, share experiences and feel less isolated. And the more we raise, the bigger the difference it will make.
