Olympia Shetland Grand National · 17 December 2018
When I was 10 my pony Dragon died suddenly. I wanted to give up riding as all my ambitions disappeared overnight, everyone was devastated. I had just bought my Shetland Eddie to race and was falling off him daily, 3 times in 10 minutes was my record!. Everyone encouraged me to keep going. Racing with all my friends at SPGN at all the amazing shows gave me the desire to keep riding. Luckily last year I got selected to race at Liverpool and even had a win. This year, I was very lucky to be able to ride Ninja & with the amazing training from Joe Akehurst, I have had a brilliant year with great results with both Eddie & Ninja. I have raced at Royal Windsor, Badmington & Gatcombe & have travelled all over the uk.
I have now have been selected to take part at Olympia which has been my dream since I was young.
I am hoping to raise as much money as I can for the Bob Champion Cancer Trust. Bob is an inspiration and comes along to all of our races and gives us tips and advice on how to ride. Bob spends so much time with us it is a privilege to raise money for his amazing cause.
I have been very fortunate to be supported by Lauren Rogers @ Chillout Equestrian this year for which I am very thankful.
Individuals will be able to sponsor each of my races & watch from inside the famous arena at Olympia. If you’d like to be one of my race sponsors & have your name in the programme please contact my mum for more information.
Please, please help me achieve my target for such a special cause.
Eddie, Ninja & I promise to do our very best 🏇🏼
Thank you so much
