Story

In November last year, a bright star was extinguished with the passing of Caroline Beaumont at the age of 35. Caroline was an amazing person, full of energy, enthusiasm and fun. She was talented, beautiful and brought light into the lives of all those she knew. It was an honour to be her friend for 20 years.

On Sunday May 18th I will be taking part in the Derby Walk over 21 miles from Knightsbridge to Epsom, to help raise funds for Caroline’s Vision for Cancer, the charity project set up in Caroline's memory in conjunction with Barts Charity, to support innovative research into eye cancer. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to support this very special cause. The great Persian poet Rumi wrote: “Look as long as you can at the friends that you love, whether they are coming towards you or moving away from you.”

Caroline’s legacy reminds us of the wisdom of those words and her spirit lives on in all those whose lives she touched. Thank you very much for your kind sponsorship.
