On a serious note, once again somebody I know has passed away from the despicable disease, Cancer......

I had the pleasure of knowing Maria all to briefly as our children go to the same school in Long Riston, and an outstandingly wonderful mum to 4 wonderful young children. 

Maria had taken up running for charities and on the back of her inspiration and drive, I decided once again to take up the challenge of the dreaded Humber bridge Half marathon. 

Obviously you all know me well enough to know how much I really really really love running, or exercise in general..... So I'm not going to kid you that I am running, more of a pleasant fast walk/funny looking jog!!!!

I asked James, Maria's husband what charity he would like to benefit from me attempting this epic journey once again, and Marie curie was top of their list as they provide absolutely heartbreaking but much needed care to terminally ill people within your neighbourhood.

Please give any amounts that you possible can, its all much appreciated and greatly needed for these valuable services that these people/charities provide.
