Story
As some of you may be aware me and fitness have never really gone together but after my own journey with cancer I feel my dad was up there still looking after me getting me through each stage of treatment. I m definitely no natural runner (more a wobbler) and only started trying to run (even though I feel I have managed a knack of running slower than my brisk walking 🙈) in the last 2 months and can honestly say never realised how much my body took a battering last year with treatment so as mad as I maybe I ve set myself a challenge to run a marathon in a month for St Michael’s Hospice in memory of my amazing dad as we can never thank them enough for the care they provided for him in his lasts days and the support they gave us. So if you could spare a pound or two to sponsor me, I would be forever grateful

This year it will cost over £5.3million to operate the Hospice and provide our services to our local community, with around 16.5% funding from the North Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group. The remaining funds comes from the kind donations made by people like you.
