The most marvellous magical balloon race in the world

Early evening on Saturday 7 July will see 500 purple balloons streaming up, up and away over the beautiful coastline of Selsey, West Sussex.

These balloons are part of Amanda’s Balloon Race  An uplifting fun event which will see a number of the balloons win a prize whilst raising money for The Amanda Beach Fund – Friends of Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust.

       Our Goal? To raise £500 towards Amanda’s Charity.

Nearly 2 years will have passed since Amanda lost her battle with a brain tumour she had fought against so bravely. Amanda was a very special loving person. Her positive fun outlook on the life brightened everyone who had the pleasure of being in her company. Her absence in our lives is as difficult today as it was the day she was taken from us. What she has left us though is the courage to keep walking forward and do all the fun things she so loved to do whilst trying to help others in similar circumstances.

 

A donation of just £1 per balloon  enters you into this exciting race and the  balloon that flys the furthest wins 1 prize. Each balloon purchased will be given a number between 1 and 500. This number will be printed on the balloon label and attached prior to lift off.

There will also be a voucher of £15 awarded to the balloon purchased for a child if they have not come 1, 2 or 3

All you need to do is pay for your balloon(s) here leaving your contact details and number of balloons purchased in the message box. We will then assign you a balloon with a number and the return details on it.

The final date for balloon tags to be returned to us will be the 7 August 2012. As they  return they will be logged on a google map which you will be able to view here on this website . Winners will be announced shortly after.

We have paid careful consideration to the environmental effects of the race, therefore all balloons are biodegradable latex and the label tags are recycled card which is also biodegradable.
