When my friend Sarah, who I have worked with for 8 years told me that she was expecting her second daughter I was thrilled. I have two little girls so I knew what joy she would experiance. 

Unfortunetly the joy that Maddie Rose brought to her family, Sarah, Lee and Sadie was tragically cut short when she passed away just 18 days after her birth.

In Maddie's final hours she was cared for at the Alder Hey children's hospital. They also supported Sarah and Lee in the dark days afterwards.

Sadly I never met Maddie, and instead of holding her and buying her a cute little gift, I attended her funeral and watched her being buried. 

Sarah and Lee will always remember the help and support provided by the Alder Hey Children's hospital and so that they can continue to do their great work please dig deep in your pockets. It will make such a difference to many other families and little lives which may be able to be saved as a result of your donations.
