My Two Six Challenge for Dial West Cheshire · 6 May 2020

Dial West Cheshire (Dial House) provides Advice, Shopmobility, Community Cafe & Volunteer Scheme which improve the lives of disabled people. The results of our work mean that every year thousands of disadvantaged people experience less poverty, reduced isolation and improved wellbeing.

Story

Jo's Two Six Challenge

I have decided to take part in the Two Six Challenge prompted by the Coronavirus crisis and the devastating impact it has had on charities, their ability to fundraise and even funding streams they would usually rely on to survive.

I am raising money for three different charities in this three part challenge; Dial West Cheshire, Age UK and Fare Share. In order to help raise vital funds I am taking part in the Two Six Challenge by riding two bike rides in a week totaling 26 miles, for each charity, and I'm asking you to please sponsor me. That is a grand total of 78miles and is no easy feat but something I proudly do for a charity I love and have volunteered for for eight years now!

Dial West Cheshire provide award winning services for the disabled people of our community, from hiring scooters and independent living aids in their Shopmobility shops to providing vital benefit and welfare advice and information.

During the Coronavirus crisis, they have adapted their services and launched an Advice line and Safe and Well checks. If we want them to still be there after the crisis, they need our help now.

Thank you so much for supporting me in this challenge!
