Me, Tony Hood, Jan Urey and Rachel Gough are running in memory of Gary. We are raising money for Northwest Air Ambulance as this was Gary's chosen charity. It is a local charity that is close to my heart.

Each rescue costs around £800 so it would be marvellous if we could pay for a few more! Please help us to make any donation in Gary's name worthwhile.

I have lots of happy memories of the times me and Gary spent in Manchester, so this is a special place for me to do my first run. The run may not seem very far but I have never run as far as this before so I know I will make him proud when I finish. Tony is getting old and has dodgy legs, Rachel is just getting into this running lark and Jan has really little legs so it will be twice as far for her!
