Story

Hello and welcome to our fundraising page.

Thank you for visiting it to find out how mad we really are!

The jungle trek will be a really big challenge for us (not a holiday as some people may think). Sarah and I have never done anything like this before, consequently going to the gym before work has been a huge shock to the system! We will be trekking for many hours each day, kayaking down rivers, camping in the jungle with all the spiders and riding on an elephant! What seemed like a good idea at the time is now becoming a reality and we are excited but terrified. Our ultimate motivation is raising much needed funds for the charity before they run out.

As we both work for the charity, we have seen the direct benefit of the group programmes that we run. The support and shared understanding are so important to a child who has lost someone really precious to them through death. Also witnessing the children's resilience and courage has inspired us to challenege ourselves - "these experiences make you a stronger person" (quote from a bereaved teenager).

Please, please, dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Jeremiah's Journey will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thank you so much for your support.
