We have all been touched by cancer in some way. I lost my beautiful Mam, two of my very close friends, the son of a very dear friend and many old school friends who were far too young 💔. I also have close friends still fighting this awful disease.

I am fundraising again this year for Cancer Research as part of Relay For Life Jarrow which will take place on 11th July 2026 where team members participate in a 22 hour walk of Monkton stadium. Alongside my wonderful team members ‘Combat Cancer’ we also have a variety of fundraising events planned.

AQUA-FIT-ATHON - Friday 29th May 2026 at Jarrow Community Pool 10am-1pm 4 x 45 minute sessions (3 hours in total)

COMBATATHON - Saturday 6th June 2026 at Jarrow Focus 12pm-4pm (4 hours in total)

SOCIAL CHARITY FUNDRAISING NIGHT - Date and Venue TBC

I will also be participating in the PIER-to-PIER walk on Sunday 29th March 2026 from Roker Pier to South Shields Pier
