We offer care and support to people facing a life-limiting illness

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in my 5th London to Brighton 100km (& my 7th 100km challenge overall) in May. This time I am raising money for the wonderful local Peace Hospice in Watford who cared for my father in law in his last months. Keith sadly lost his life in February 2020 after a long battle with cancer.

My husband Glyn tragically took his own life in September after suffering from depression. He was very close to his Dad & absolutely devastated by his death, so doing this challenge will be the perfect way to remember them both. I know this is what Glyn would have wanted.

We provide support at end of life but the majority of our work focuses on supporting those with life-limiting illnesses who have many more years to live. That support includes symptom control, pain relief, companionship, spiritual support and improving the physical wellbeing of patients.
