We fund bowel cancer & disease research to save and change lives

Story

Beloved sister, Jocelyn Burton, died on Sunday 5th April 2020. Bowel cancer is a disease that has touched our family more than once. Despite her illness, Jocelyn continued to work, producing things of great beauty, and in the last 2 years travelled to India, Africa and China, never to be beaten. Silversmith extraordinaire, Jocelyn was the last of her Bloomsbury set.

As we can have no funeral we decided that money towards research would be what she wanted.

Prof Charlie Knowles'  is a trustee and admin chair of the committee of this charity and a good friend of Jocelyn and her family. He is currently the Director of the National Bowel Research Centre and is Administrative Chair of the Bowel & Cancer Research Grants Committee. Jocelyn relied on Charlie for advice and support.
