Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. You may have seen me in the news sauntering about my garden and getting a trim from Jim.

A little birdy told me that the Brown Family have raised over £500,000 and need to raise around £40,000 to complete the respite home to make their daughter Eilidh's wish come true. So I thought rather than posing around the garden, I could run in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and with your help raise some funds to get the respite home finished.

Here is a link to what Eilidh's family and friends are building to support young people like Eilidh and their families who are trying to overcome cancer:

Like I say, I am in training to be part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on the 27th/28th of May. My Relay Team members have injured themselves, so I will be doing the 5k on the Saturday instead of the Relay. I used to cycle 100's of miles, but i'll be 78 in May and so a 5k walk / jog will be a challenge :)
