Story

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m more couch potato than runner, but me & my lovely friends are  determined to challenge ourselves to raise vital funds for Mountbatten Hampshire by running the Southampton Half marathon.

From the moment Dad was admitted, the staff selflessly took the best care of him to make his final days dignified and comfortable.  They are truly angels - too kind & caring to describe & nothing was too much trouble.  Please help us raise vital funds so others can access these services.

As £20 could provide fresh, healthy, and nutritious meals tailored to patients on our hospice wards for a day.

£50 could provide a personalised physiotherapy appointment and ongoing plan.

£100 could provide a course of bereavement support sessions.

£200 could give someone a day of personal care, helping them to remain in the comfort of their own home.

£250 could pay for a qualified Mountbatten nurse to sit with a dying patient at home during the night.

£350 could pay for a 24-hour stay in bed on our hospice ward.
