Coventry Half Marathon 2019 · 24 March 2019 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
IMPORTANT UPDATE (21/02/2019):
Despite months of training, a hip injury has meant that I have been unable to run past 12km in training despite my very best attempts. I have therefore made the very difficult decision to pull out of the Coventry half marathon.
Luckily my injury is unaffected by shorter distances so I will instead complete a 5km Parkrun every weekend in April followed by an extra 1.1km on the last one to match the half marathon distance.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me both in my training and in making this very difficult decision.

I have chosen to run the Coventry Half Marathon as it takes place almost exactly 9 months after the birth of my son. I felt this would be a huge challenge for me and one which will be 100% worthwhile if I can raise lots of money for Zoe’s Place.
Zoe’s Place is a local charity offering respite and care to babies and children under 5 suffering from a wide range of illnesses. The charity provides this care at no cost to the families so all money raised is vital to the work they do. For further information on the charity, their website is https://www.zoes-place.org.uk
