As a second job to my own organisation (A Mind Apart), I now work for and support a charity called Initiatives of Change. They are a peace and reconciliation charity that focuses on building bridges and trust from the local to the global.
I have been a supportor of this charity and a part of their network for many years, but more recently since becoming one of their National Coordinators, I have recognised the importance and necessity of their work even more across the world. In a society that often feels like it is breaking down around us, their trustbuilding and reconcialiation work is more vital than ever before. Not only are they currently working with refugees and local communities nationally and globally, but they work hard to influence leaders across the world through relationship and challenging preconceptions.
I love what they do, and am privilaged to be able to work with them. I would lov eit if you are able to support their work too by sponsoring me for the Singathon event that I have planned for the charity and will be taking part in myself!
