In 2022 on a night in Autumn a count was conducted which showed 3069 people were sleeping rough, this is a 25% increase since 2021 and a massive 74% increase since 2010 - and a one-night count comes nowhere near the actual extent of the problem. 

Almost all of us are just one payday away from being homeless and absolutely nothing can prepare us for the harsh reality of being in that situation. I will be sleeping in a car park, with little more than a piece of cardboard and a blanket for just one night to help raise funds and awareness for our local homeless association, Arc. Arc will use the funds to continue to provide a great service in supporting homeless people into accommodation, education, and work.
