Hi All, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This summer I will be travelling over 4,412 miles across the world to Ikorodu, Lagos in Nigeria! Here I will be volunteering and working to positively change the lives of people in developing countries.

On the 10th of June this year I will depart for Nigeria. Here I will volunteer for a charity called VSO (Volunteer Services Overseas) on a development programme. This programme is made possible through an organisation called ICS, which is an international citizen service that brings young people together to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most.

I will be working alongside both volunteers from the UK and Nigeria on a project to promote youth participation in governance. ICS and VSO work with communities that have specifically requested their help and work towards inspiring both volunteers from the UK and overseas to become active and passionate about long term community development. 

With your generosity and help, I desperately need to raise £800 for my charity VSO (who are one of the respected charities that deliver ICS), in order to depart for Nigeria and make my mark on the world. The money donated will allow both myself and VSO to bring about a positive change in the developing community in which I am placed.
