Having treated patients with bowel cancer for many years, I know how crucial research and awareness are in improving outcomes.

Myself and my husband wanted to do something out of the ordinary to show how much we want to help this cause. 

We will be doing a number or events over the year in preparation for the  following highlights for Bowel Cancer UK: 

Jody - Ironman UK, Bolton on the 12th July 2020. This is a triathlon with a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mike cycle followed by a marathon.

Alex - The Ring O' Fire on the 4th September 2020. This is 135 mile ultra marathon over 3 days around the coast of Anglesey.

This year is going to be a huge challenge for us both. We would love to hear of your own efforts to fundraise or get more active to keep us motivated along the way. We will keep you posted of our efforts too.
