I am running for my NHS department to raise funds so that we can buy equipment to help our patients. As we all know many departments do not have spare cash to buy or update equipment. This can mean that patients do not always get the best possible service. I am fundraising so that we can buy some specialist scales for our department that will help us work out people's body composition (how much muscle and fat they have). This will help us develop treatment plans that are more personalised to our patients and will help them to live healthier lives.
