After someone very close to me was diagnosed with Leukemia i saw how much value this charity adds. The TYA provides all of the care below but it also provides an environment that allows patients a temporary distraction from what they are going through. TYA provide single rooms, double the size, with bright and clean decoration which helps to maintain a positive mind. They also provide common rooms with games, free junk food,a jukebox and a whole host of other amenities, all to help take the focus away and give them a little normality in their day.
