Why? I was recently talked into running the Paris half marathon in March 2010...I feel a little daunted, a bit nervous. I have been running for a couple of years, but the longest race I've run is 10k and that was a year ago. Looks like a bit of training is needed and this will be a BIG challenge. Not only have I agreed to run the half marathon - 13 miles - but I will also be trying to complete it in under 1hr and 50mins!

I've decided to raise money for a wonderful organisation as I get ready for this very big challenge - Macmillan Cancer Support. Visit www.macmillan.org.uk for info on their great work. Macmillan improves the lives of peple affected by cancer and there are 55,000 people living with cancer in Northern Ireland! They provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

Please help me help them...
