Event: Virtual Great North Run 2020, on 13 September 2020
With the rising number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sierra Leone, Welbodi Partnership is continuing this urgent campaign to raise funding to help prepare the ill-equipped Ola During Childrens Hospital for this public health emergency.

Story

Wow - 36th run but not as expected !

This years Great North Run is taking place virtually - so I’m running 2 laps of Dunstable Downs instead of pounding the roads of South Shields!

Without the crowds and the “oggy-oggy-oggy” I’ll need more motivation than usual to help me get round. So why don’t you shout “oi oi oi “ by supporting this great charity.....

The Wellbodi Partnership is supporting Sierra Leone’s only children’s hospital to get through the Covid-19 pandemic and help as many sick children as they can.

Ola During Childrens Hospital (ODCH) in Freetown - near where Sarah lives and works - is doing amazing work with fewer doctors and nurses than usual. Please make a donation to support the hospital and the children in this difficult time.

Welbodi Partnership is working to improve child and maternal health in Sierra Leone, where 1 in 10 children dies before their 5th birthday and maternal death rates are some of the highest in the world. Since 2008 Welbodi has been working in Sierra Leone to address these challenges.
