Mental health services in England have been decimated to the point of near annihilation. In their absence, charities such as Mind provide support, advice, and care at a local level to those suffering with mental health problems.

I have chosen to run for my local Mind organisation, Stockport.
My reason for doing so is chiefly that aside from some council funding, they rely solely on donations from lovely people such as yourselves.
Those of you who know me, know that I have overcome battles with chronic anxiety on two occasions, and am currently in the process of thrashing it for the third time.
I am one of many people who Stockport Mind have assisted me with a number of things, and I endeavor to acknowledge their brilliance by raising money so that they can become even more of a rock for people in their darkest hours.

The work that Stockport Mind do really can change, and ultimately save lives.

This run is dedicated to my friend, Adam Bramwell.
Adam will always be remembered for his prodigious talent for music production, and his incredible sense of humour. Therefore, as I struggle around Tatton Park with some of his best remixes in my ears, I know he'll be laughing at ridiculous run.
