Story
I'm sure we can all relate to someone who has been in a bad place, or has experienced it themselves. It make it all the more worse when you consider the age. Kids younger than me have taken their own life, when there were so many different things that could have been done. I have regrets and I'm sure we all have, but you can't go back after some decisions, and if these people knew that, things could be different. If 50 people donated £10 then we would hit our target, no problem. IF we hit the target, we will GO BIG! Take the event up a step and do something really painful for the cause! Thank you for your help!
Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under 35 in the UK. PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide and believes that many young suicides are preventable. They operate HOPELINEUK, a confidential call, text, and email helpline for young people with thoughts of suicide or those concerned about a young person who may have thoughts of suicide. Every £5 raised can help pay for a potentially life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK from a young person wanting to stay safe from their thoughts of suicide.
