I'm running the 2025 TCS Sydney Marathon for Sport in Mind

Sydney Marathon 2025 · 31 August 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
This year, I’m taking on the Sydney Marathon 2025—26.2 miles of sweat, determination, and a whole lot of self-doubt—to raise money for a cause that means a lot to me.
I’m running to support Sport In Mind, an incredible organisation that helps people improve their mental health through sport and physical activity. We all know how powerful movement can be—not just for our bodies, but for our minds. Whether it’s a walk, a run, or just getting out of the house, exercise can be a game-changer for those struggling with mental health challenges. But not everyone has the support, resources, or confidence to get started. That’s where Sport In Mind comes in.
Every donation will help provide programs, coaching, and community initiatives that encourage people to use movement as a tool for better mental well-being. Mental health affects all of us from time to time and if we don't, we know someone who does. That's why Sport In Mind's mission of transforming the lives of people suffering with mental health problems through their sport and physical activity programmes, is so important.
I am massively passionate about running, I completed my first marathon last year and boy was it a grueling yet amazing experience. Running is often something which I immerse myself into when I'm not doing so well mentally. Actively choosing something difficult builds my resilience and then helps me overcome those darker days and tough mental challenges. For those battling anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges, every day can feel like a marathon. That’s why I’m doing this—because everyone deserves the chance to find strength, resilience, and joy through physical activity.
If you can, please donate and help me cross both the finish line and my fundraising goal. And if you can’t donate, a share or a message of support means the world! I have linked below some useful pages which tell you a bit more about the charity and where the money will be used.
