joe thompson is raising money for Play it Forward
Story
For 12 years Play it Forward has been funding water, sanitation, school and football projects in Southern Zambia. In that time we have supported 18 Zambian schools, helping more than 7,000 children get access to clean water, sanitation and a quality education.
Through the Play It Forward Football Academy in Livingston we have also seen the enormous positive impact that organised community and inclusive football can have on young people's lives.
Three objectives under pin everything we do:
- To improve school infrastructure, attendance & attainment for young people in Southern Zambia
- Improve young people's health, well-being and help bring their communities together; and
- Encourage and improve their further education and employment opportunities.
Our trustees cover all our running costs, so every penny we raise goes on improving the lives of these vulnerable young people.
