To promote positive mental health we work to raise awareness of mental wellbeing, campaign for positive change and provide inclusive services to the local community. We draw upon our research and campaigns to provide signposting and information.

Story

Hello everyone!

Dewi and I have (stupidly?) decided to run a
Marathon each, both in the month of April this year. Dewi has secured herself a
place in the Guernsey Marathon on Sunday 2nd and I have managed to secure a
place in the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd.

Having started our training plans yesterday (as
typing this was the 2nd Jan) we both definitely have quite the way to go!!

Although a clear personal challenge for the both of
us, the main motivation behind this was
to raise funds for the wonderful Charity, Guernsey Mind.

Our aim is to aid the brilliant work the charity does, both in
encouraging a positive attitude towards mental health and supporting mental
wellbeing.

Having affected us both in more ways than one, we know that too many
lives are taken far too early, too many people suffer in silence and too many
people carry a stigma.

Our aim is to help the fight against mental health, if only in our
little way.
