Story
So, where do I start.
On the 10th May 2025 we welcomed my beautiful niece Paisley to the world.
She was born with a condition which meant she had to be brought earlier and it was quickly known she wasn’t very well at all.
She was rushed from Whiston hospital to Alder Hey the same day.
The care Paisley got at Alder Hey is something we will never forget. I could not begin to imagine how difficult this time was for my amazing sister and my incredible brother in law. They could not speak highly enough of every single person they met for the three weeks they stayed in for.
From nurses to doctors to cleaners to the kitchen staff, all second to none and the horrific time they endured was made that little bit easier through this.
It wasn’t just the care of Paisley we were impressed with, it was care given to mum and dad also!
Myself and Tony, Paisley's amazing Dad will be climbing Snowdon at night on 10th August(morning of) In aid of this incredible hospital that we are so very lucky to have on our doorstep.
I also have an incredible affinity with this hospital after my sister was under their care during her younger years. This incredible hospital has allowed me to grow a huge bond with my little sister which may not have been possible without there intervention. For that I will be forever grateful. The aftercare shown to my sister, mum and dad was second to non. This makes the decision for ANY fundraising opportunity a no brainer.
Please donate anything you can as it will mean so much to us both for a cause so close to our hearts.
Thank you.
