Giving working children a foundation in education and support away from child labour, into school or vocational training with the potential for a safer future out of extreme poverty.

Story

The UK Bangladesh Education Trust (UKBET) provide a safe space and access to education for some of the millions - yep, millions - of children in Bangladesh who have been forced into dangerous child labour, and they've just had their funding cut without warning.

This leaves many children and their families without critical support while facing the devastating impact of the pandemic.

To try and help raise money, I’m going to cycle up Hong Kong’s highest mountain, Tai Mo Shan (957m), 3 times.

Why 3? 🤷‍♂‍ it just felt like a fairly round number and will be really, really hard.

In return, I hope that you will consider donating ANY amount to support children forced into labour – even the amount of your morning coffee will go a long way.

Here's what it costs to support the education
of a child:

- Education materials for children: £10 for one whole year
- Salary of teacher: £100 per month
- Venue hire for the classroom: £40 per month
