Nottingham Chabad provide quality educational courses, one on one study, Shabbat and holiday meals, personal assistance and social events. Since 2008 their welcome home and open minded attitude has impacted the lives of young Jews both individually and collectively, with over 100 joining each week

Story

It has been a long road to the triathlon. It's been a long story of hundreds of hours of nights running in the rain, swimming in the freezing cold and 1am gym trips since September 2013 -and why? Well, its mainly because of the 1.5km (60 length) swim in Canary Wharf, the 26 mile cycle through london and the 10km run - all one after the other. Just thinking about it makes the stomach churn...the Olympic distance London triathlon!

As many of you will know who have studied here, Mendy and Brocha at Notts Chabad do amazing things for jewish life in Nottingham. Every single week they provide everything from big events like meals for upwards of 100 people to small things like learning sessions, and such is their commitment that Brocha is business as usual even when heavily pregnant with their 4th child! Unfortunately, their landlords are coming back to live in their house and they are trying to raise the necessary money to buy a new Chabad centre by July - this is  my (and your) chance to make a difference to them, just like they have made a difference to me through their kindness in my 4 years here.  Thank you!
