I am participating in a 150 mile walk down the cornish coast along with my two friends Maxime and Josh. We are doing this to fundraise for the charity, The Comfort Fund. This charity helps families with the smaller necessities for example, the fund aided us in a purchase for a bed for Lauren, other examples of their work consist of helping with travel insurance for disabled children. I will be doing this walk in the name of my recently deceased sister Lauren, she battled Cystic Fibrosis for many years, defying many odds throughout her lifetime. She was a true inspiration to me and she taught me never to give up and always believe that you can achieve your goals, whatever the circumstances.

Any person that knew her would say that she made a huge impact on many peoples lives even if she was only in their presence.  I truly believe that she would want the treatment she was able to access through the comfort fund to be available to as many children and adults as possible. Because she put other peoples lives before her own, without thinking twice because this was her kind, admirable and bubbly nature she shared with us.
