Story
In July 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Gower Peninsula Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer. My mother, father and sister have all had cancer and I'm fortunate that two have recovered from it and are still with me. Mum died of pancreatic cancer, which has a very low survival rate, as its not detected early enough.
I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
Thank you!
