Joe & Steve's Bank Holiday Cycle - Edinburgh to London

Mark Coleman was a great family man who among other hobbies loved rugby and the outdoors.
Son Steve & Grandson Joe are going to celebrate his memory by cycling from Murrayfield Stadium Edinburgh to Twickenham Stadium London over the August Bank Holiday weekend to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.
That's just the 450 plus miles in 3 days!! Not many people take on "the century" (100 miles in a day), so to take on over 150 miles per day for three consecutive days is going to be a huge challenge for us.
We'll be funding the journey ourselves to make sure every penny raised goes towards helping this great cause - so your support really will count.
After a long and happy life Mark suffered, as so many now do, with Alzheimer's in his later years. Whilst it didn't stop his cheeky sense of humour it clearly had a huge impact on his ability to enjoy a fit and healthy life, and on his safety. The challenges presented by this disease are something we'd love to contribute towards fixing for the millions of people living with the effects of Alzheimer's and Dementia, both sufferers and their carers.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
