Earlier on this year we were all stunned by the tragic news of Joe’s passing. Joe was a valued colleague and was showing the signs of burgeoning career as a financial adviser gaining a place in Openwork’s (the 2 biggest financial advisory network in the UK) Elite New Advisers Club & winning an award as the top new adviser. More than this however Joe was a friend to us all, one that has been and will continue to be sorely missed.

As a company we were keen to do something in his memory. So what could we do that would be a fitting way to honour the man himself?! It quickly became apparent that there were various criteria:

1.       There should be loads of people

2.       There should be a pub

3.       There should be darts

4.       There should be booze

5.       There should be further pub sports

So as a family member, friend, colleague of Joe, you have the privilege of being cordially invited to the inaugural JOe-lymic Games!

We have a venue, 19:20 bar (www.19-20.co.uk) and a date (Friday 23 November, 6pm onwards), so please stick it in your diaries.

It will be a team format with a combined darts (thanks Harry!) and pool competition. The finer details are still to be finalised but we also want to use the evening as an opportunity to raise some cash for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. There will be an entry fee of £10 per person. There will be a raffle & other fun and games on the night! Thanks very much to Harry & Sam for all your help so far and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the 23!
