Bupa Great South Run 2009 - NSPCC teamGO · 25 October 2009 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

In a drastic attempt to lose a bit of baby-weight, I thought I'd go for a long run. I thought everyone apart from me was taking part in the Great South Run, so on impulse I signed up. It was only later that I realised not everyone takes part in the Great South Run, but by then it was too late. I started off by doing laps around my local graveyard and in May I worked out that I might stand a chance of completing the Great South Run in 4 hours. It's now only two weeks away and I've progressed to running with a pushchair along the seafront, hopefully having shaved at least an hour off my original estimate.

I really need your donations to motivate me around the 10 mile course!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
