I was going to take a year off Fundraising. I was going to do some events for fun, and fall in love with running and cycling for the sake of just doing them. No need to beg or be a nag to people, then a number of things happened.

1. Covid-19 hit and rightly all events got cancelled.
2. We had a miscarriage
3. Winston's wish called to check on me and mentioned after I asked they were struggling for funds and their services were more in demand.

I can't just sit and do nothing that's not me, I need to help. But I'm limited in what I can do. So I'm seeing what other amazing people are doing and well I'm standing on the shoulders of Giants and this is what I've come up with.

26.04 - I should have been running a marathon, instead I'm running a Marathon at the front of my house. It's a lap of the marsh outside my front door, which at 0.15 miles means 175 laps! 

17.05 : I'll be on my turbo training doing a virtual dragon ride, this means doing 139 miles and 10,000 feet of climbing, like i'd have done on the roads, just with quaint views of my toaster and sweeping breezes from my fan and taking in the aroma of my microwave, instead of the majesty of the Black Mountains. 

I've done both of these before, but not in such mental testing circumstance. It'll test me a lot, but I have to try. I have to do something.
