I am running the Edinburgh marathon as a way to raise money for a cause that is close to my dad's heart. (Pardon the pun.)

My dad has survived a heart attack and recent heart surgery and without charities like the British Heart Foundation my dad might not still be with us.

I  also have a little nephew Arran who survived open heart surgery at the age of five months.

I hope with hard work and determination I will be able to complete my challenge.
