Story
On Sunday 28th April 2019 I will be taking on the challenge of the London Marathon with the aim of fulfilling a lifelong goal and raising £2500 for Meningitis now.
The training is going to be an absolute beast to get my body conditioned to run 26 miles but it’s something I am determined to achieve. I will get the drive, energy and mental strength from my wife Claire and two children, Corey aged 10 and Summer aged 8.
Meningitis kills more under 5’s in the UK than any other infectious disease and is still the most feared by parents. Seeing their child suffer is something no parent should have to go through and with your support we can help fight back against this disease.
My parents had to go through the ordeal with my brother suffering the disease as a baby. Fortunately our family was one of the lucky ones as he made a full recovery with no lasting problems unlike many others.
Please help make a difference by donating as much as you feel you can. I completely underdstand so many people are fund raising these days for other well deserving charities but your support is much appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
