Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Late September, my beautiful teenage daughter, Annabel, without warning suffered a bleed on the brain causing a massive haemorrhage. She underwent emergency brain surgery at St Georges Hospital, London and spent 7 weeks receiving treatment. She was transferred to Tadworth Children’s Trust, for 8 weeks; which offers a range of residential brain injury rehabilitation services for children and young people with acquired brain injury (ABI).
Thankfully Annabel is now making very good progress and has received intense neurological rehabilitation from the fantastic doctors, nurses, therapists and support staff at Tadworth Children's Trust.
As parents, we are truly grateful to have the support and have been surrounded by some incredible professionals, who enabled Annabel to receive this much-needed treatment. We have been thankful to lean on friends and family during this time and feel we want to help with supporting this amazing children’s rehab centre. It's our way of trying to say "Thank You”.
I have set up a Just Giving page, and there are some fund-raising activities that I am looking for support (and participation) with! The first is an 80-mile cycle challenge on 10th September, from London to Canterbury.
Please, if you can, help me raise some funds for the amazing work that Tadworth Children's Trust does.
