On Wednesday 18 November, along with thousands of others in many parts of the world, I took part in a sponsored Run in the Dark.

I was joined virtually by a friend in the UK, Ian MacWilliam who ran along the Ridgeway Path of the Berkshire Downs and also by both my sons, Rowan and Callan who pounded the pavements of London town.

Despite inclement weather I managed to achieve my target and finished a 10kms route in under an hour....
