Nerve Tumours UK provides support and information, as well as campaigns and raises awareness on behalf of over 26,500 people in the UK who have NF, the group name for Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1), NF2-related-Schwannomatosis (NF2) and Schwannomatosis (SWN).

Story

                                 In Memory of Claire Cookson

My sister Claire sadly passed away on Sunday 8th April 2018. She had several rare and complex medical syndromes. But Neurofibromatosis was the condition which gave her the most problems. It badly affected her quality of life and also contributed hugely to her early death. Claire bravely bore this medical condition with fortitude, wonderfully supported and cared for by her husband Gordon.

As yet, there is no known prevention or cure for Neurofibromatosis, but the Neuro Foundation provides first class information, support and advice for sufferers of this disease. It also facilitates and promotes innovative research and acts as an advocate for those with NF.

To  honour  my sister Claire,  I invite her friends and family to contribute to the Neuro Foundation, which provides crucial support and empowerment  for all those affected by Neurofibromatosis in the UK.
