Fundraising for Frimley Health Charity
Story
Throughout 2019, I will undertake 13 physical challenges varying from tough 10K races to Half Marathons to the London Marathon as well as Triathlons to hopefully include the Weymouth 70.3 Ironman.
I have the privilege of working closely with the Intensive care Unit of Frimley park Hospital and see first hand daily the dedication and amazing care the staff provide for complex patients and their families. As always sadly there is never quite enough money to provide equipment to make the lives of the patients or the jobs of the care givers easier.
It is often the case that the Hospital gets a lot of charitable donations, directed to very worthwhile projects and appeals, but it doesn't always filter down to ICU, which is why I am fundraising for the Unit specifically. I have been assured via email from the Frimley Health Charity that although they have to receive the donations, being the registered charity, they will assign it a specific code so that every penny gets directed it to ICU. Please can I ask that you spare whatever you can to support the incredible work this Unit does and don't forget to click the Gift Aid if applicable.
