We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As two brothers we have first hand experience of the fall out connected with cancer. The latest member of our family to be affected was our Grandad who is pictured with us. He passed away in February 2012 and we miss him dearly. We appreciate the hard work that was done to make his final months as comfortable as posssible. He was treated with respect and compassion by the staff of Myton Hospice. The respite care was very much appreciated.

We are therefore taking part in a fundraising event in order to say 'Thank you' to those who helped our Grandad. We will be 'Swimming the Channel' with a friend called Dave Nicholls and others in order to raise funds for Myton Hospice. The swimming event will take place at Ernesford Grange on 23rd June 2012.
