Cycling challenge from London to Paris, cycling approximately 311 miles over four days, raising funds for Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am cycling from London to Paris in July over four days.

I AM PAYING MY OWN TOUR COSTS SO EVERY PENNY DONATED GOES TO SUPPORT THE FANTASTIC CARE THAT THE HOSPICE PROVIDES.

89 miles, 78 miles, 76 miles and finishing with a leisurely 74.5 miles into Paris.

I've been cycling semi-seriously for six months, cycling 30-50 mile routes and even having done a longest ride of 71 miles. However I've never done long rides back to back. Anyone who knows me, knows that I have the dodgiest knees in Christendom, so recovery each night will be the biggest challenge along with getting all the training into a busy work (and social) calendar.

Most people know the wonderful work that Hospices do in your local community and Cynthia Spencer Hospice is no different, doing great work in MY community. They looked after my sister over fifteen years ago and many others in my wider social network since. So any money you can spare, no matter how small will be put to work caring for people (and their families) when they need it the most.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
