We raise money to improve the lives of sports tetraplegics

Story

Run Fat Boy Run .....please help me raise lots of money for an amazing charity !

I'm running the London marathon in April to raise money for a charity who work so hard to help tetraplegic sports men and women get back into sport.

I will be running in memory of a best friend Paul Fox who sadly lost his battle to cancer in 2006, leaving behind him his wife, family and young son Louis. As an individual Paul was a big personality, strong willed and competitive, all of which gave him the strength to fight on and endure his terrible illness with such courage.

He had been a great sportsman and loved his sport and I know he would have approved of this charity and the wonderful work they do for tetraplegic athletes. He would also have laughed out loud at the prospect of me running a marathon ! But knowing Foxy, had he had the chance he would have been running along side, determined of course to beat me to the line because that was him !    Please give generously...

About the charity

Regain is the only charitable organisation dedicated solely to improving the independence of all British men & women who have become tetraplegic as a result of a sporting or leisure accident. A tetraplegic is unable to walk and has limited reach & dexterity because use of the arms is severely impaired.
