Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Between 17th and 22nd July I cycled from my home in Cheam to Connishead priory near Ulverston in the lake district, a distance of 325 miles, which will took me 6 days.
I have done this to help raise money for Dorjechang Buddhist Centre in Wimbledon, a community commited to helping the people of South London find peace and happiness by running meditation classes and day courses all over south London. They also offer hospital chaplaincy services to local hospitals as part of the NHS chaplaincy service. If you want more information about this centre visit - http://www.meditateinsouthlondon.org.uk/
To accomodate people's growing interest in meditation techniques and their benefits, Dorjechang Buddhist Centre is currently looking to obtain a larger property in the Wimbledon area.
To help the community achieve this goal, I engaged in this cycle in order to raise money for the new property.
Any money you can donate will go toward this meaninful project.
Thank you in advance.
John
