This September, I will be taking part in The Furniture Makers' Company's Charity Bike Ride from St Albans to Morecambe to raise vital funds for our industry charity. The charity has been supporting the welfare of people working in the trade since 1903. In addition to providing financial grants and advice to those working in the trade who have fallen on hard times, it also supports the development of young people looking to build a career in the sector.
